Hello Sacajawea students and families,

Welcome back to the 26-27 School Year.  We will be "Launching into Learning" on                             August 26th at  8:25 am. 

   Our teachers are working hard each day to engage students with relevant learning in all subjects.  We     appreciate your support in making sure that students are well rested, fed, and ready to be the best       version   of themselves each day.  Attendance has a major impact on the learning of our students.  Talk    to your   students each day about the expectations you have for them.

Please use the crosswalks when picking up and dropping off students in the morning and afternoons.  We have a large amount of traffic around the school during those times.  Practice with your children what it looks like to use the crosswalks.  

We continue to work on the challenge of growing all students.  Literacy and Math will continue to be our main focus, as well as our Student Accountability plans with Responsibility Centered Discipline and Character Strong.  

Our goal this year is for 80% proficiency in Literacy and Math in all students, decreased behavior incidents, and increased opportunities for students to show accountability and leadership.  We will also strive to have an average weekly attendance of 95%.  We understand that life has twists and turns, so any support we can provide to help your student get to school on time each and every day please let us know. 

We are looking forward to a great year at Sacajawea.
